About the Role:
We're seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our team and keep our business moving! You'll be responsible for transporting goods and materials across Europe, ensuring safe and timely deliveries. This is a crucial role where you'll play a key part in our success.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles (trucks & trailers)
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment
- Plan routes and stick to delivery schedules
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips, reporting any issues
- Maintain accurate records (deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption)
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members about deliveries
- Always prioritize safety and follow established protocols
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 commercial driver's license
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
- Knowledge of European traffic laws and regulations
- Experience driving various trucks and trailers
- Clean driving record with no major accidents or violations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Bonus Points:
- Experience delivering goods in Europe
- Familiarity with <LOCATION> roads and routes
- Ability to drive long distances
